Home Elevators from Stiltz

Home Elevators

Aim High – The Ultimate in Residential Elevators

Stiltz Home Elevators offer you a simple and easy way of moving safely between the floors of your home with our unique residential elevator. Considered a practical and attractive alternative to a stair lift, a Stiltz Home Elevator keeps you living independently in the home you love without the need to move house. Whether you live in a town home, modern colonial or waterfront condo, our residential elevators can be installed in just one day in virtually any two-story home in the USA.

Unlike traditional home lifts, Stiltz Home Elevators are freestanding and require no hydraulics or supporting walls. Our elevator lifts are powered by a self-contained motor and run from a 220v outlet or a 110v outlet with a simple step-up transformer. The shaft-less lifts travel ‘through the floor’ on self-supporting dual rails and include all the safety features you would expect from a product – even during a power outage – which has been engineered to the highest standards.

Typically, it takes just 30 seconds to move between floors in one of our home elevators which are whisper quiet and are very useful for carrying heavy luggage, laundry or even the family pet too! Our residential elevators provide homeowners with a great way of ‘future-proofing’ their house and can add value to your home.

Typical Home Elevator Applications

Standard Retrofit

Standard Retrofit

The most common place for a Stiltz elevator is to be installed is in downstairs room such as a hallway or family room with the lift travelling up to a bedroom or on the landing. It can be tucked in a corner or can take center stage in the space.

Stairwell Void

Stairwell Void

One of the unique aspects about Stiltz home lfits is that it has been designed to ensure there is enough room for the lift to be installed within a turning staircase. This is made possible by the elevator’s coimpact footprint and shape.

Closet to Closet

Closet to Closet

Stiltz elevator lifts are spacious but compact enough that they can often be fitted in a closet on both floors. This installation can make the best use of space in a home and is ideal for customers looking to conceal the residential elevator.

Thru-Car

Thru-Car

The Stiltz Duo and Trio elevators are both capable of thru car configuration which is exclusive to our lifts. This means it is possible to enter on one side of the lift on ground level and leave from the other side on the first floor.

Sloped/Cathedral Ceiling

Sloped/Cathedral Ceiling

To install one of our residential elevators in a sloped or cathedral ceiling, the rails need a horizontal surface to fix to but some simple building modifications by our installers will make it possible to fit the Stiltz elevator in this way.

Bespoke

Garage

Placing a residential elevator in your garage is a great way of providing you with quick and safe access into your property. This application will require the construction of a simple shaft to be built around the elevator in the garage.

As Seen In

Our elevator was successfully installed yesterday. We’re delighted with it and all members of the team who worked on it.

Mr. & Mrs. W.

Everyone we dealt with has been cheerful and professional and we felt they were genuinely interested in our custom.

Mr. C.

No sooner had we installed the elevator, my husband had a fall. Having the Stiltz Home Elevator means he can still get upstairs when needed.
